Product details

Fragrant cardamom, gently warming cloves and a little peppercorn. NEMI’s organic black-tea chai has plenty of aroma without overpowering the tea itself. Loose leaf, 125g.

Why it’s on our shelf

“Cardamom is what makes this one special. You notice its fragrance as soon as the hot water hits the leaves, followed by a quiet warmth from the cloves and peppercorn. We chose it for those afternoons when you want a proper pot of tea rather than another rushed mug. It’s especially lovely with a splash of warm milk.”

The Ritual & Brew Guide

  • Moment: Slow Afternoon / A Chai Break
  • Measure: One teaspoon of loose leaf per person
  • Water: Freshly boiled, approximately 100°C
  • Steep: 5 minutes, then strain
  • Barista Tip: For a richer chai, let the spices simmer gently with water before adding warm milk. A little honey works beautifully too.

Inside the tube

  • 125g organic loose-leaf Cardamom Chai — not teabags
  • Organic black tea, cardamom, cloves and peppercorn
  • Contains caffeine; includes spices
  • Colourful upcyclable NEMI retail tube

PERFECT FOR
A quiet tea break. Use this tea's own temperature and infusion time rather than one method for every tea.
