Robust Chinese gunpowder green tea meets real peppermint leaves in a bright, cooling blend with an unmistakably minty finish.

Why it’s on our shelf

This is mint tea with a proper tea backbone. The tightly rolled green leaves have enough character to stand beside the peppermint rather than disappear beneath it. We chose it for the hour after lunch, when a refreshing pot feels more satisfying than another coffee. And unlike a delicate green tea, this blend is deliberately brewed hot and long.

  • Measure: 5g loose leaf tea per 400ml water
  • Water: 100°C — freshly boiled, as Brew Tea Co. recommends
  • Steep: At least 5 minutes
  • Barista Tip: Serve without milk and try it beside a square of dark chocolate. Give the rolled leaves space to open up in the pot.
