The Ritual & Brew Guide

  • Moment: A Ritual Worth Giving / Weekend Tea Tasting
  • Measure: 5g loose leaf tea per 400ml water, for each blend
  • Water: 100°C — freshly boiled for all three black teas
  • Steep: 3–4 minutes without milk; 4–5 minutes if adding milk
  • Barista Tip: Brew Vanilla and Cinnamon in separate pots first, then compare them with Lemon. Use the same amount of tea and water in each, so the flavours are easy to distinguish.
